We were probably one of Gabe and Will's first clients. The first project Gabe and Will did for us was building our second level balcony and building a set of steps and railings for our back deck. They were so awesome that we ended up hiring them back for many more projects including refinishing our garage and finsihing our basement which was quite a big undertaking.

In each case Gabe and Will kept communication lines open and addressed all challenges that were uncovered as opposed to hiding them (water proofing, structural issues, HVAC, meeting code etc.).

Gabe and Will did an amazing job on all custom built ins and were great about making changes to the plan along the way (something not all contractors are willing to do without additional costs). They are both very talented and take extreme pride in their work which is evident by their attention to detail and quality.

We can't say enough good things about Fine Finish Renovations. We have referred them to many friends who have also been happy with their work and will have them back for our next reno no matter how big or small. Thanks guys!

When we started thinking about doing a reno on our home we were very excited and a bit nervous at the same time. You hear about so many home reno disasters and certainly didn’t want anything like that to happen to us. After an extensive search, we chose Fine Finish Renovations through the recommendation of a friend. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with our choice and the finished product far exceeded our expectations. 

Gabe and Will were very professional and approachable. They took the time to answer any questions we had to ensure we felt confident in our decisions. We renovated the main floor and top floor of our house - kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and replaced all floors in hardwood. They did all the work themselves and completely live up to their name of Fine Finish Renovations. 

The work was exceptional - down to the smallest details. You can see that they are very skilled contractors and take great pride in their work. We had made the right decision.

Will & Gabe were amazing. When another contractor let us down on installing hardwood flooring in our living room when we were selling our home, Fine Finish was there to save the day. They were incredibly fast and efficient. Kept the work area clean and safe and were very reasonably priced. Definitely would have them do more work for us.

I don’t want this to sound cheesy or cliché but if you’re looking for the BEST contractor look no further… because we have found our choice for life with Will and Gabe from Fine Finish Renovations!!

I’ve had some pretty crummy contractors, you know the kind that don’t show up on time or finish the job they said they’d do or ask for more money. But, this was definitely not the case with Will and Gabe.

They were honest and upfront about all the costs and were very accurate and detailed when it came to costing out the jobs we requested.

 We first did the basement and we had a budget in mind ahead of time. Worked with Will on what we wanted regarding layout wise and he ended up giving us 2 quotes for the basement. We really wanted a bathroom, however, it was just slightly out of our budget range, but, what Will did suggest is we can map out the space and leave it unfinished so that we can add a bathroom in at a later date. He also suggested to add a larger door to be able to get a full bathtub in just in case. We ended up going with spray foam insulation which was FANTASTIC, the basement is cold in the summer and nice and toasty in the winter it is great on the insulation factor and helped us to save on the heating bill in the winter. What was the icing on the cake was the amazing custom wood working that they installed under our stair case as it was both functional and very aesthetically pleasing, we were able to use the space for the many collected DVDs and children’s toys over the years… yay to not wasting space.

 We then hired them to complete a second job the upstairs 4 piece bathroom. I really wanted a fiberglass tub surround and had many contractors tell me that they won’t install them because they’re too hard to do. But, Will and Gabe didn’t back down from the challenge. They provided the quote up front which showed all material and labour costs and they stayed on schedule to get the job done while we were away on vacation. 

One of the things that really stood out for me as well was definitely the reliability, when they give a time line they pretty much stuck to it (obviously if there were extenuating circumstances i.e. weather) then they were honest and advised. I also really appreciated how they cleaned up after each day they worked and they kept the work space as clean as possible and they removed all trash always.

Thank you Will and Gabe for such beautiful work you’ve done on our house, you’ve both helped to make our home OURS! We absolutely LOVE our space we live in that you’ve helped to create and will definitely be seeing you in the future for more projects to come.

We had Will and Gabe from Fine Finish Renovations in to do a full renovation to both our bathrooms. It was the first serious renovation that we have ever done and they made the process easy and stress free. From the start of the renovation they kept us informed and explained everything in detail to us.
